We are very proud to announce that Anna and Sean have been awarded ‘Points of Light’ awards by the Prime Minster for their outstanding work with Cuan Wildlife Rescue. They will be the UK’s 1201st and 1202nd Point of Light.
The Prime Minister’s daily Points of Light award recognises outstanding individual volunteers – people who are making positive changes in their communities. The UK award was set up in partnership with the US Points of Light Foundation, which was established over 25 years ago and has since recognised over 6,000 inspiring volunteers in the US. Essentially this is a way for the Prime Minister to say ‘thank you’ for your outstanding voluntary service. We also hope that by shining a light on your volunteering, we can inspire others to volunteer.
