In recent times we know many marathons, runs and walks have been postponed, but like many we like to keep active and that’s why we have launched the Luing to Wenlock Challenge!
For those who don’t know, Cuan Wildlife Rescue was founded on the Isle of Luing by Megan Morris Jones. Luing is one of the Slate Islands, Firth of Lorn, in the west of Argyll in Scotland, about 16 miles south of Oban. The island has an area of 1,430 hectares and is bounded by several small skerries and islets. It has a population of around 200 people.
As a challenge we are setting everyone to walk, hop, or step the distance Megan traveled with the charity….
The whole 379 miles or 609941m!
