Clothing and Accessories

There are several rails of men and women’s clothes, plus shoes and accessories. With everything from modern fashion brands to designer names and vintage items, you never know what you might find.

Books, DVDs and CD

Our bookshelves have a constantly-changing selection of fiction and non-fiction, plus children’s books for all ages. Buy a DVD for a cheap night in, or browse the CDs for everything from rock and pop to classical.

Bric-a-Brac and Homeware

Charity shopping is also a great way to find a bargain for your home. We have ceramics, glassware, kitchen items and ornaments galore.

How You Can Help

Below is a list of items that we can and cannot accept.

  • All donations must be clean, usable and of saleable quality.
  • We cannot wash clothes.
  • The better the quality of donation, the more useful it will be.

Donations We Can Accept

  • Fashionable clothing
  • Men’s and women’s clothing and shoes, especially good trainers
  • Accessories, non-pierced jewellery, belts, handbags, hats
  • Bric-a-brac, crockery, glassware, kitchenware, and ornaments
  • Books, unwanted gifts, audio-books, DVDs, CDs and vinyl – subject to certification and authenticity

Donations We Cannot Accept

  • 18 certificate, counterfeit or homemade films and music
  • Bedding or household linen – unless in up-opened bags
  • Children’s safety equipment i.e. car seats, harnesses, carriers, high chairs
  • Crash helmets, hard hats or protective headgear and clothing
  • Dentures, jewellery for pierced body parts, opened/used cosmetics/toiletries
  • Fur or Ivory items in any guise
  • Gas/oil appliances, batteries, gas ovens
  • Large quantities of donations at any one time (such as house clearance)
  • Medication or solvents
  • Nightwear or upholstered items that don’t have the relevant safety labels
  • Weapons or realistic toy weapons, blades or objects that could be used as weapons
