Cuan Wildlife Artist of the Year 2021

Cuan is holding its first Wildlife Artist of the Year competition this November 2021 at The Hive in Shrewsbury.

The exhibition at the Hive Gallery, Shrewsbury will be taking place from Wednesday 3rd -Tuesday 30th November 2021.

Judging of all the entries will take place during a private viewing on the evening of Wednesday 3rd November 2021.

Winner

The winner of the Cuan Wildlife Rescue Artist of the Year is Hannah Cumber with her stunning Fox picture, completed in 2019.
Hannah said:
“My inspiration comes from my love and respect for wildlife in all its forms. "Fox" was completed using coloured pencils. I wanted to capture his expression and the details in his eye. "Fox" was my first wildlife.”

Runners Up

One of the runners up of the Cuan Wildlife Rescue Artist of the Year was Emma Tong who created in 2020, “ Nesting Raven”
Emma quoted:
“Having Nesting Ravens in the Garden and watching their habits and reactions is fascinating. I wanted to celebrate this in ceramics”

Lesley Palmer completed this very cute Baby Bunny in watercolours in 2020.
